Mission Statement
Heart of the Paige was born from sorrow.
In a season where my heart felt heavy, I began writing as a way to release what I couldn’t hold in any longer, a way to take the heaviness out of my heart and into the air around me. What started as quiet poetry became something more, a space where feeling could exist freely.
This space is for those who feel deeply. For those seeking escape, understanding, and connection through words in all their forms, from poetry and personal essays to books and conversation.
Heart of the Paige exists as a haven for the ones who carry the weight of the world and need somewhere to set it down. A place to breathe, to feel, to heal, and to remember that you are not alone.
Paige’s Vision
Heart of the Paige began with me, Paige, writing my thoughts and feelings into poetry as a way to understand what I was carrying. But at its core, I have always loved stories. Fiction, romance, dystopian worlds, and the kind of books that let you step out of your reality and into another.
My love for literature comes from the freedom it offers, the ability to build, escape, and exist within entirely different lives, characters, and worlds. Heart of the Paige grew from that same desire: to create and share spaces where stories can live and breathe.
Over time, this vision has expanded. I want Heart of the Paige to become a space that not only holds my writing, but also uplifts the voices of other young and emerging writers and creators. A place where personal essays can be shared through Substack and the website, where expression is welcomed in its rawest and most honest form, and where storytelling is treated as something sacred.
While I am still growing into the space where I can fully support and publish other creators, this is the beginning of that journey. I am building toward a future where Heart of the Paige can help shape and guide new voices, offering them space, structure, and encouragement to bring their work into the world.
At its heart, Heart of the Paige is exactly what it sounds like, my heart, made tangible. A living collection of stories, emotions, and worlds. A place to write, to read, to escape, and to grow into the writers and dreamers we are becoming.
